At Schurrel Design, custom wedding gowns are designed, patterned and constructed in our state-of-the-art studio, where highly trained and experienced designers and seamstresses work to produce wedding gowns of unparalleled fit, quality and construction.

PATTERN

Paying meticulous attention to silliouet and detail, your design is patterned to each individual bride’s measurements. Highly skilled pattern makers draft and cut the pattern.

MUSLIN

To test the fit of your wedding gown we make a muslin. Using a inexpensive fabric that is that same weight as your fashion fabric, the muslin gives us the opportunity to fine-tune fit, add or modify design details, and to adjust proportions.

FABRICATION

All of the Fabric elements used in a garment contribute to the overall appearance and effect of a gown, while at the same time, underpins it in practical and structural ways. Fashion fabrics and lace help create texture, sweep, and feel of a gown. For example, when more than one fabric is utilized, the interplay of complementary or contrasting textiles become part of the overall design. Underlining and linings add support and weight, playing a necessary part in the visual impact of a gown.
